Grandma and Her Little Women 🫖💐👒

Okay, once again, I just can’t narrow it down—so here comes a picture bomb!

This is Grandma and her Little Women tea party. A few years ago, we had a similar tea party, and the granddaughters had so much fun. Since then, more granddaughters have joined the bunch, so of course, we had to do it again!

For those who follow me, you know my mom is a special person who is slowly fading with Alzheimer's. This tea party was one more moment for her granddaughters to play with her, to laugh with her, and to make memories they’ll cherish forever.

Grandmother (noun): The mother of your mother or father; a combination of warmth and kindness, laughter and love; a person who overlooks your faults, praises your success, and encourages your dreams.

A beautiful definition, but sometimes, the best way to describe someone is through the love of those who know them best. So here are the simple, heartfelt definitions from Grandma’s little women:

From my own experience, I know grandmothers leave an unforgettable impact. My own grandmothers taught me life lessons, and we had our share of goofy, joy-filled moments. When I think of them, I smile and feel a warmth in my heart.

I want my mother’s granddaughters to have those same lifelong memories, despite her illness.

Beyond just capturing moments, this tea party was about creating time—time for the granddaughters to share laughter, love, and joy with Grandma. Watching them giggle together and seeing the sparkle in my mother’s eyes was pure magic.

When my sister and I were young, one of my favorite things was watching Little Women with Mom when the boys were out of the house. This tea party was inspired by that memory, too—one of many special moments she’s given us.

She has created a beautiful legacy, and even now, she continues to make an incredible impact.
